FARDIN PATHAN

Fardin Pathan is now 11 years old. He is suffering with Cerebral Palsy and also has a seizure disorder (epilepsy).

The seizures began at about the age of 3 months. His parents took him to a private hospital in Ahmednagar but he could not get any relief. As he grew up he could not stand or speak. His monthly treatments were not helping and his parents felt he was ignored by the treating facility. They felt so sad.

His mother heard about MFD so she brought him here in 2004. After taking treatments from MFD, Fardin started feeling better and after few weeks his seizures came under control. He continued care at MFD and when he was 7 years old he started walking. One year ago he fell down and fractured his leg. His parents took him first to civil hospital where the leg was cast. After the cast was removed he came to MFD for better treatment.

Now he goes to a special school for disabled children every day and can listen and understand some commands like “close the door” and other simple phrases. He is very active and runs all over MFD!!
